BAB IIANALISA ORGANISASI.1.Sejarah OrganisasiDewasa ini telah kita ketahui bahwa kebutuhan manusia akan barang barang kebutuhan semakin meningkat. Dimana banyak daerah-daerah kecil lebih banyak memasok barang-barang tersebut dari kota-kota besar (pusat) sehingga banyak transaksi pengiriman maupun pengangkutan barang yang terjadi. Dalam hal ini banyak alternatif jasa yang ditawarkan termasuk salah satunya jasa angkutan yang dirasa memegang peranan penting dalam mensukseskan transaksi-transaksi yang ada. Seperti yang kita ketahui, jasa pengangkutan yang ditawarkan saat ini dapat ditempuh dengan tiga jalur, yaitu melalui jalan darat, laut dan udara.Oleh sebab itu, dengan adanya alasan-alasan tersebut maka pemilik Perusahaan Central Express berusaha untuk memenuhi permintaan kebutuhan yang ada dengan membuka sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak pada bidang jasa pengangkutan yang diberi nama Perusahaan Pengangkutan Jasa Central Express.Pengangkutan ini berdiri pada awal abad ke-0 tepatnya pada pertengahan tahun 000, yaitu pada tanggal 1 juni. Sebelum mendirikan perusahaan ini, pemimpin perusahaan ini telah banyak mengetahui hal-hal yang berhubungan dengan jasa pengangkutan ini, karena sebelumnya telah memiliki pengalaman dibidang yang sama pada saat bekerja diperusahaan jasa pengangkutan lain. Dengan begitu pemimpinnya dapat mengatur jalannya jasa pengangkutan ini. Dalam mendirikan sebuah perusahaan pengangkutan, diperlukan penyediaan mobil-mobil truk dalam jumlah yang memadai dan akan digunakan untuk mengangkut barang-barang yang akan dikirim. Mobil-mobil truk yang ada jenis-jenisnya berbeda-beda, seperti; Engkel, Tronton, Fuso, Interkuler, dan Container. Pada saat perusahaan pengangkutan ini baru didirikan, hanya tersedia beberapa buah mobil-mobil truk. Seiring dengan semakin berkembangnya perusahaan pengangkutan ini, maka pihak perusahaan terus menerus menyediakan ataupun menambah mobil-mobil truknya. Penyediaan mobil-mobil truk tersebut pada perusahaan pengangkutan merupakan salah satu bentuk peningkatan pelayanan yang diberikan kepada pelanggan yaitu dengan meningkatkan fasilitas yang ada. Dengan adanya peningkatan fasilitas yang diberikan kepada pelanggan, maka diharapkan dapat meningkatan kepuasaan pelanggan sehingga proses pengiriman dan penerimaan barang dapat berjalan lancar sesuai yang diharapkan. Dengan adanyan persetujuan yang telah disetujui oleh kedua belah pihak baik itu dari pihak perusahaan pengangkutan maupun dari pihak pelanggan sendiri, maka akan diharapkan dapat meminimisasikan resiko-resiko yang terjadi serta tidak menimbulkan kesalahpahaman diantaranya. Kegiatan-kegiatan yang terjadi di perusahaan ini sangat banyak prosedurnya yang dimulai dari proses pengiriman barang sampai proses penerimaan barang. Pada proses pengiriman barang terdapat syarat-syarat pengiriman barang yang sebelumnya harus diketahui oleh pelanggan yang mengirimkan barang-barangnya dalam perusahaan pengangkutan ini untuk menghindari terjadinya kesalahpahaman yang mungkin terjadi dan mendukung proses operasional perusahaan pengangkutan ini, dimana syarat-syarat pengiriman barang ini telah ditetapkan oleh setiap pengangkutan yang ada dan ditulis pada setiap bukti pengiriman barang yang biasa disebut dengan Surat Pengantar Barang (SPB). Syarat-syarat pengiriman barangnya yang tertera didalam SPB adalah sebagai berikut1.Pihak perusahaan tidak memeriksa barang yang dikirim, dan apabila ternyata barang tidak sesuai atau terdapat barang kiriman yang bertentangan dengan hukum, maka akan menjadi tanggung jawab pengirim..Pihak perusahaan tidak bertanggung jawab atas kehilangan, kerusakan, kebocoran, pembusukan, penguapan, akibat perjalanan atau akibat kecelakaan, kebakaran, perampokan atau musibah lainnya pada barang kiriman, kecuali ada perjanjian terlebih dahulu..Pihak perusahaan berhak memindahkan barang ke kendaraan tanpa pemberitahuan.4.Ganti rugi yang dibayar setinggi-tingginya 10 (sepuluh) kali lipat dari ongkos kirim.5.Klaim tidak dapat diajukan apabila barang diterima oleh penerima atau setelah 0 (tiga puluh) hari sejak pihak perusahaan terima barang.6.Penunggakan ongkos kirim menjadi tanggung jawab pengirim.7.Pengirim dengan ini menyatakan dan menyetujui semua pernyataan pengiriman barang. Semua kegiatan yang terjadi di perusahaan pengangkutan ini baik itu proses pengiriman barang maupun proses penerimaan barang, dilakukan secara manual. Dengan sistem yang digunakan saat ini, proses-proses yang terjadi di perusahaan ini berjalan sangat lambat dan banyak menyita waktu sehingga sistem ini akan membuat proses-proses yang ada berjalan tidak efesien dan tidak efektif. Hal ini dapat dilihat pada saat pembuatan laporan bulanan dan laporan tahunan atas pertanggungjawaban Manager Operasi dan Manager Pemasaran kepada Pemimpin Perusahaan Pengangkutan Central Express terhadap kegiatan-kegiatan yang terjadi di perusahaan ini. Laporan-laporan yang akan dibuat secara manual tentu tidak dapat diselesaikan secara cepat dan tepat waktu, sedangkan laporan-laporan tersebut harus diserahkan dan dilaporkan secepat mungkin. Dengan fenomena-fenomena yang ada di perusahaan ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem yang sedang berjalan saat ini yaitu semua kegiatan-kegiatannya dilakukan secara manual dapat menghambat proses operasional di perusahaan ini.
