Then one day we had it, "Revolution, Reaction, and Reform". Now that we had the theme, we could not wait to get started on this year's history project.After we learned the theme for this year, we got together and started brainstorming to figure out what the subject of our project was going to be. After a day or so, we finally decided that our project was going to be on the segregation and integration of schools. We started our research on our subject and found that it was too narrow and that most of the research we had found was repertory, so we decided to change it to the Cycle of Segregation with the main focus on schools but still include other places that were also segregated. Now that we had a subject that we knew for sure we were not going to change, we began to get research once more. We started out at our school library, but that library was too small so we then looked on the Internet, at the La Porte Library, the San Jacinto Library, and the Harris County Library. After we finished our research, we began to look for pictures to place on our board. This was difficult because on the Internet, many of the pictures were too small and many of the books we used for research only had words in them. When we were searching for pictures, we looked in books, magazines, and the Internet.

When we finished the pictures and the board had dried, then we spray painted the title on our board in white.
